Teaching: resources for undergraduates
Teaching at Cambridge
At undergraduate level I teach on a range of topics in philosophy of mind, metaphysics and epistemology.
I supervise MPhil students on projects across a wide range of areas in philosophy of mind, epistemology, and cognitive science.
I supervise PhD students who work in my core areas of research. You can get a decent sense of what those are from what I publish and talk on. If you'd like to know whether I'd be an appropriate supervisor for your PhD, it's helpful if you can send me a couple of paragraphs describing your proposed project. Unfortunately I'm not able to offer detailed feedback on proposals.
I am currently the primary PhD supervisor for Alice Roberts and Yinzhu Yang. I am the secondary advisor for Adham El-Shazly, Pablo Hubacher Haerle, and Alexander Hutterer. I was the secondary advisor for Paula Keller who is now a JRF at Jesus College.
Teaching at Recovery College East
I co-taught a short course on philosophy of mental health with Dr Huw Green, specifically designed for mental-health service users, through Recovery College East. If you'd be interested in using our materials to do something similar send me a message.
